Two Lincolnshire schools, Washingborough Primary Academy and Middle Rasen Primary, are set to receive an exclusive visit from the Premier League Trophy after having winning submissions in the Premier League Wellbeing Stars Challenge!
Between the 15 March 2021 - 20 April 2021 the Premier League launched the Premier League Wellbeing Stars Challenge, which tasked 5 to 11-year-olds with creating a "Wellbeing Week" plan of activity that will help boost the mood of their family, or people they know in their school or community. The aim of the Challenge was to enable pupils to learn about what social action means, what contributes to their own wellbeing and how they can help other people.
Children were asked to submit their Wellbeing Weeks and the submissions were reviewed in May. The schools from the winning submissions are rewarded with an exclusive visit from the Premier League Trophy for participating in the challenge.
On Wednesday 7th July, the trophy will touch down in Washingborough Primary Academy in the morning and make its way over to Middle Rasen Primary School in the afternoon. Pupils will be able to get their picture taken with the trophy and get involved with different activities on the day!
