Streets Heaver become 'Friend of the Foundation'

Streets Heaver have become a ‘Friend of the Foundation’ and have chosen to support the charity's popular Fighting Fit programme for the year ahead.

Following a year in which the Lincolnshire-based business raised over £2,000 through staff initiatives for the Foundation, Streets Heaver have decided to elevate the partnership even further for the 24/25 season.

The company, which specialises in healthcare computing, has taken a specific interest in Fighting Fit - the charity’s award-winning cancer-care provision and are looking forward to supporting it not only through a generous donation but also through volunteering and promotion.

Through Street Heaver’s funding, the Foundation can continue to help those whose lives are affected by cancer across the county and aim to make their experience even more fulfilling.

Fighting Fit, supported by Streets Heaver, now operates in eight separate Lincolnshire locations as the sessions continue to grow in popularity.

Streets Heaver’s managing director Ben Heaver said: "Supporting the Fighting Fit programme means a lot to us at Streets Heaver. Cancer has touched so many lives, including those of our team members and their families.

“Being able to help people in our local community through the Foundation feels deeply personal and rewarding. We’re proud to be involved in something that not only aligns closely with our company's values of supporting health and wellbeing but also demonstrates our ongoing commitment to making a positive impact on those going through such a challenging time.”

Foundation CEO Martin Hickerton added: “We are delighted to have Streets Heaver on board as a ‘Friend of the Foundation’ for 24/25. As a local company who continue to make a big difference nationally in the healthcare sector, we have a lot in common!

“Over the past year, the Streets Heaver team have walked, run and played games nights in order to raise vital funds for the Foundation. This year they have taken an even bigger step and have associated themselves exclusively with one of our flag-ship programmes - Fighting Fit. This generous step will ensure even more people across our county are supported through some of the darkest times”
