Lincoln City Foundation hosted their Premier League Kicks end of season festival on Saturday, with children aged between 8 and 18 coming to the LNER Stadium to take part in a multitude of sporting activities.
Whilst at the festival, participants were given the opportunity to try their hand at football (blind and walking), kwik cricket, tag rugby and athletics.
The Mayor of Lincoln, Biff Bean, also made an appearance at the event, playing football with the young people that attended.
Children were also given the unique opportunity to look around a police riot van which was brought down to the stadium, and talk to the police officers.
Additionally, Green Synergy, a charity based in Lincolnshire, set up a stall at the festival, which allowed children to plant seeds.
It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience for everyone involved, and our thanks go to all the young people that took part on the day.
We run weekly Premier League sessions for young people between 8 and 18 at Sincil Bank, Birchwood and Yarborough. To learn more go to: www.lincolncityfoundation.com/pl-kicks.
