Premier League Fans Fund boosting support for under-represented groups

The Premier League Fans Fund has helped the Foundation and Lincoln City Football Club to boost support for under-represented groups in the community.

The funding provided by the Premier League Charitable Fund has acted as a connection point to the ‘Imps For All’ scheme which was set up by the Imps at the beginning of the 23/24 campaign.

‘Imps For All’ is an initiative which allows supporters to donate tickets to the club which can then be repurposed for members of the local community who would otherwise not be able to attend games.

Through this many under-represented sections of society including ethnic minorities, children in care, members of the LGBTQ+ community and the older generation can attend fixtures and watch City in action.

On a match-by-match basis tickets are also donated to the club’s Foundation who then distribute to their various programmes such as Extra Time Hub and Conversation Club.

Extra Time Hub acts as a ‘youth club’ for the older members of our community while Conversation Club allows non-native speakers to improve their English - highlighting the ways in which the charity has reached various groups of people through the Premier League Fans Fund.

Events such as the Community World Cup have also been made possible with the generous funding provided to the charity.

The Community World Cup highlighted and celebrated the diversity of the local Sincil Bank area as teams representing countries from around the world were given the unique opportunity of playing on the LNER Stadium pitch.
