Lincoln City first-team player Lukas Jensen visited Bishop King CE Primary School on Tuesday 23 January to hand-deliver some Equality, Diversity and Inclusivity (EDI) books ahead of Saturday’s designated EDI awareness fixture against Peterborough United.
The Dane talked to the children about growing up in Denmark and his experiences of moving to England, and the differences between the two cultures.
Pupils were also given the opportunity to ask the goalkeeper questions about his upbringing, his career and some of his favourite things about Denmark and England.
At the end of the assembly Jensen handed out the books to the children in an effort to ensure that every child is represented within the books they read at school.
