Lincoln City Foundation to play Hughsie FC in charity match

Lincoln City Foundation will play Hughsie FC on the 3G pitch at the LNER Stadium on Sunday 9 June (1pm KO).

This year all funds raised from the event will be donated to the Foundation and Hughsie FC.

The Foundation aims to help create happier, healthier and inspired communities through its work in the surrounding areas.

Hughsie FC were set up in 2010 in memory of Adam Hughes who tragically passed away due to Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome (SADS). The team have raised over £30,000 for charities including SADS Foundation who provide research and medical equipment to prevent sudden cardiac death.

Upon entry spectators will be asked to make a donation to aid both the causes.

Refreshments and other activities will be available with gates for the match opening from 12pm.
