Lincoln City Foundation have been chosen as an official charity partner for the Lincoln 10k event on Sunday 14 April.

This will allow runners to be able to raise money to fund the Foundation’s efforts to offer opportunities to the local Lincolnshire community.

Participants will also be able to enjoy Lincoln’s most iconic sights in this beloved running event which finishes at Lincoln Cathedral.

The Foundation’s head of healthier communities Alice Carter said: “Lincoln 10k is a fantastic event for the city and we are delighted to be a charity partner this year.

“By taking on the 10k challenge and running for Lincoln City Foundation you will be helping our charity to continue to provide opportunities that impact people’s physical, social, and mental wellbeing.

“We immensely appreciate fundraising support which helps us to both sustain current programmes and develop new community initiatives.”

Runners who want to represent the Foundation are asked to fundraise at least £100, while they will also receive a branded Foundation top to run the course in.

Rewards are on offer for fundraisers who go the extra mile, with two free matchday tickets available for anyone who raises more than £250 and a free stadium tour for two if anyone brings in more than £500.

The top fundraiser from the event for the Foundation will additionally receive two more matchday tickets and a pitch-side presentation of a signed Lincoln City shirt.
