“We had a great turnout at our event, which shows the commitment of our partners and supporters to our county as we emerge from the pandemic.”
Emma Tatlow, Active Lincolnshire CEO facilitated a discussion at the event around Sport and Physical Activity and described how the Sport England strategy Uniting the Movement is committed to playing a role in tackling the challenge of physical inactivity in Lincolnshire, to support more cohesive, prosperous communities and to reduce health inequalities.
Emma said:
“Lincoln City Foundation provide such a diverse range of services and opportunities for people to engage with physical activity. Cohesive Communities is one of the five big issues in the national ‘Uniting the Movement’ strategy and the work of the foundation absolutely supports this.
