LNER AFTER SCHOOL CLUB
Our after-school club is an important programme run by the Foundation to give children a safe, fun and inclusive environment to wind down and enjoy after their day at school.
We are offering bespoke provision for those that need childcare immediately after school whilst parents are at work.

LNER Stadium, Poacher's Den (Situated along the Sincil River, next to the Red Imps Bar).
When?
Every weekday 3:30pm to 5:30pm
How Much?
£3.50 per hour, or £5 for two hours on one day
What does a normal After School Club session look like here at the LNER Stadium?
We collect children from both Bishop King and St Peter at Gowts schools and we bring them over to the LNER Stadium on our ‘walking bus’. We always have a member of Lincoln City Foundation staff, along with a member of school staff to walk over with us.
-
On Monday, we have ‘Movie Mondays’ and during this session, we get comfy and watch a favourite film.
-
On Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, we spend the first hour (until 4.30 pm) on our fantastic 3G pitch! Whilst we’re outside, we love to play football, play with the parachute, play duck duck goose and other fun games and, sometimes, we just like to chill out and enjoy the weather.
At 4.45 pm every day, we have a snack which normally consists of something like: toast, crumpets or breadsticks and dip; fruit slices or salad sticks and cheese or crisps. On Friday, we have cake too!
Whilst we’re indoors, the children can play with a variety of different board games, puzzles, craft activities, Playstation and Wii games or they can choose to relax on the sofas or in our book corner.
Why should you send your child to our After School Club?
-
We are a safe home from home setting. We endeavour to ensure that your child is happy and having fun whilst they’re with us. We know that your child has had a busy day at school so we want to make sure that they’re able to relax and do the things they enjoy at After School Club.
-
We have qualified staff working during each session and we always have 3 members of staff as a minimum, to ensure that we are maintaining safe adult to child ratios.
-
We are regulated by Ofsted!
